4th Annual YCARS Food Drive - 03/14/2026

YCARS continued to support our local community partners Covenant Presbyterian Church for the 4th year, running a food drive on behalf of the their food ministry. The church provides our club a location for our annual hamfest (next one will be October 3rd, 2026) for a very reasonable fee so in return for this, the club has been providing significant donations of food via our food drives. YCARS collected almost $3000 which was used to purchase food for their kitchen. A crew of club members showed up and loaded up several carts of the bulk style food the church needed. The staff was overwhelmed, stating that the club’s contribution would allow them to help people in need for probably half the coming year. Well done, YCARS, and we’ll see you next year!
