COVID-19 AND YCARS IMPACT
Beginning Saturday, March 21, all meetings at the York County Amateur Radio Society clubhouse are closed for members' attendance. This includes our monthly radio fun nights, business meetings, and presentation meetings. Meetings will be streamed online on the YCARS YouTube channel. The only members who are permitted at the clubhouse are those essential to present at the meetings and a camera operator. Social distancing will be observed.
The clubhouse remains accessible by members during this difficult time. We believe that ham radio is an excellent way to keep in touch with like-minded people. Members are expected to obey the following rules during this state of emergency:
No more than three people at the clubhouse at a time.
Once done using radio equipment, disinfect all surfaces and equipment you came in direct or indirect contact with.
Thanks for everyone's cooperation during this difficult time. Please follow the CDC's recommendations as well as local, state, and Federal laws. Let's help get things back to normal as quickly as possible!
