YCARS 2m FM Net

The York County 2 meter net meets each day at  8:30 PM and weekdays at 11:00 AM on the K4YTZ repeater, 147.03 MHz, negative offset.

Our Net Manager is Sheila, KG4CDF . Please contact her if you are interested in becoming a net control station. (if the hyperlink above does not work in your browser, you can e-mail Sheila at coy@navacore.net)

Please remember that the net will use 147.03 MHz simplex in the event of repeater failure.

Be sure to check this site regularly for changes to the 2 meter net or activation of additional nets.

Here are some important things to remember about checking in to the net:

Operators checked into to the net must be there. Example - if I check  my wife into the net, she must be in the same room with me or car that I am in, so that she is available if some one needs to talk to her. 

Early check-ins are permitted only if the station checking in early plans to stay for the net. 

In and out check-ins  (no traffic or no comments) are common and useful to  the net control operator during a net. 

If a station checks into the net after it is closed, that station should be informed of the announcements made during the net and any traffic being held for that station.
